Homeworld is one of the first space strategy games in which space was made truly three-dimensional. The graphics in the re-release have been significantly improved and improved. The sound did not need to be changed, and everything is at a fairly good level.
A game about a race of humanoids called the Higari, who are very similar to humans. In the course of evolution, they learned to build spaceships and went into space. There they met many intelligent civilizations at different stages of development. One of them, Bentussi, wielded a powerful artifact called the Core, left over from a vanished forerunner race. This artifact allowed their flagship to open a subspace tunnel and move instantly over vast distances. It was this civilization that helped the Higaryans master the technology of a small jump, which allowed them to move in space much faster.
A few decades later, a war for neutral systems began in the galaxy, as a result of which, after huge losses, the Higari were divided into several dozen worlds. To achieve peace, the Union of Peoples was created, which was supposed to resolve all disputes, but this did not work and led to an even more destructive war. During the fighting, the second great artifact, the same as the Core from Bentussi, turned out to be in the hands of Higaryan. But due to a chain of unfavorable events, the ship carrying the Core crashed on an uninhabited planet.
The surviving crew members recreated technology for generations and formed a small nation on this planet. After they were able to re-enter space, they were lucky to find the Core with a map of the location of the world of Higar, their homeland. It was decided to make a journey and return to their native world.
For this purpose, a huge ship called the Mother was built, the girl Karen was appointed to lead it, whose mind was connected to the control, which made her part of the ship.
On this journey, you will need to help her lead the way to reach a distant goal.
The whole game is 16 jump missions.
In each of the places you will meet strong enemies. All of them will need to be defeated one by one.
The Mothership has everything you need to win. You will get the missing resources and technologies during the game.

There are many classes of warships from huge cruisers to small maneuverable fighters.
After defeating an enemy, do not rush to jump. Collect the remnants of the enemy fleet, study technologies, improve and modernize your ships.
