- Engage in the extraction of food without which you cannot survive in such harsh conditions

- Improve the capabilities of your soldiers by creating a training plan for them
- Upgrade your train for better protection and more comfort during travel

The situation described actually occurred during the First World War. The Czechoslovak Legion, which fought as part of the Entente armies, had to show miracles of courage and fortitude during its return home.
You will face a shortage of resources, which will be especially difficult at the beginning of the game. It won't get easier, but you will learn how to get supplies and be able to exchange surpluses to get everything you need.
Battles take place in real time, you need to act quickly, but sticking to the plan. Save the game more often and you will have the opportunity to try to win again if you fail the first time. Change your strategy on the battlefield depending on what enemy you are facing.
It is not advisable to engage in battle too often; if possible, it is better to avoid it, since it will be difficult to replenish the supply of spent ammunition.
You can play Last Train Home even if your computer is not connected to the Internet, but you will still need a network connection to download the installation files.
