Battles take place in a step-by-step mode, your fighters and the enemy squad take turns. The battlefield is divided into hexagonal cells. In one turn, a unit can advance a certain distance and attack enemies within range.

Characters who are lost during battles will not return to life, so take care of strong warriors. The only exception is the undead, if the fallen warrior returns to the world turning into a terrible monster.

The soundtrack for Battle Brothers consists of musical compositions performed by an orchestra, which gives the game a zest and allows you to better immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the magical world.
